This is my son Oscar lots of you wont know this but he was born a healthy boy but as 2 hours old as I was breast feeding him I looked down and he was blue the midwives ran in and within a second he was back fine. Tests were done and he was deemed fine.. (faulty machinery didnt notice his oxygen levels)
I was taken into theatre after delivering Oscar and on returning I was again cuddling Oscar and looked and he was totally blue an emergency situation was in force and he was resuscitated by around 10 staff and rushed to intensive care where he was looked after.
Day and night we sat by his incubator willing him to get better I was told I couldnt take him out to breastfeed him until 4am one morning and a consultant came in and sat with me whilst I fed Oscar hovering with an oxygen mask so everytime the machine beeped he could waffed oxygen over him an amazing doctor I went onto feed him till he was 2 thanks to him.

Believe me you feel useless and this would of been a lovely thing for us to be able to do, and now knowing that we have wonderful customers all over the country we want to raise some money to help their cause, as Betsy Boo Creations would not have happened without the wonderful work of the nurses in the Neo Natal Unit in making Oscar better. Its so close to my heart and even writing this I'm sat here crying my eyes out I know a lot of even my friends don't know about Oscars start in life it effects my every day even now.
My boy is a very special boy and why I gave up my job working away I thought I was going to loose him that week I thought he would die and that will never leave me xxx
