We provide shelter through the winter to alleviate homelessness in South London

Story

Six of the Better Bankside team will be spending a frost-bitten night under the stars on December 2nd in aid of the Robes Project winter night shelters. We'll post more on the forecasted temperatures closer to the time, but as a rough estimate - it's going to be REALLY cold!

Robes run winter night shelters for the homeless in South London, providing food, shelter, advice and support for over 70 rough sleepers every night. With rising numbers of people struggling to keep hold of their homes, and with winter fast approaching, this is a vital cause to support. If you could spare a few pounds, then they would definitely help to support individuals who have been less fortunate than us at this time of year.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now!

As an idea of where your money will go:

£30 is a new camp bed

£15 is a new sleeping bag

£5 is an evening meal

£120 is a meal, overnight stay and breakfast for 15 guests
