Story

A young man, but more importantly, a close friend named Arthur Mason was tragically killed in an accident on his farm, he was a member of University of Gloucestershire Men's Rugby union and an irreplaceable character. A charity named Moth in a China Shop was set up in Arthur's memory by his father in an attempt to gain something positive from such a sad event. The charity aims to provide support in areas where sport and nutritional awareness is low as well as provide rehabilitation equipment to any injured sportsman/woman in need. Sport, but more specifically Rugby Union meant an incredible amount to Arthur. Therefore raising money for something which is close to his heart means a lot to his close friends and family.

How are we raising money?

We are doing so by cycling from Cheltenham to Norfolk (150 miles) over three days, camping each night then arriving at Mr Hugh's farm in Fincham, Norfolk for a beer and food festival open to the public. All proceeds of the whole weekend will go to Moth in a China Shop.

Moth in a China Shop was set up in 2015 in memory of Arthur Mason; a 21 year old man who sadly lost his life in the summer of 2014. The charity exists to provide support in areas where sport and nutritional awareness is not well established, or rehabilitation programmes and equipment is required.
