Just some quick facts about bone cancer it mainly affects children and teenagers.Research into many cancers have improved over the years however bone cancer has not. Many patients require surgery and lengthy cycles of chemotherapy, even after that the cancer can return the survival rates are as little as 50%. We have also made a substantial donation to The Edwards Trust which is a local charity which has helped myself and Billie's sister through this terrible time.This charity is sometimes unheard of until you need them, their work is priceless.

Another substantial donation has been given to St Mary's Hospice who offered Billie endless help, care and support when she and us needed it the most. Their work to is priceless.

When someone is dying I feel the services like The Edwards Trust and St Mary's Hospice are an endless tower of support for both the patient and their families and we as a family wanted to say a big thankyou for everythink they did for us and Billie.
