Blue is an inspirational German Shepherd who despite what life threw at him, packed a lot into his short 8 years of life. 

Spinal surgery as a 7 month old pup, he went on to develop into an incredible canine companion. 

Blue was diagnosed with cancer in November 2015, and underwent life saving surgery at Fitzpatrick Referrals in Guildford where he required blood transfusions through the night, and which once again were needed when surgery was required in May 2016, when he underwent further surgery to have a cancerous spleen removed. 

Although he defied all the odds, won many battles, sadly there was to be only one outcome. 

We hope that the battle Blue fought will inspire others, we are so very grateful that Blue got those last six months thanks to the unselfish donations of other pet owners who's pets donated blood.
