As you know, I have met the love of my life in Theary. Theary came from a humble beginning but was given much more opportunity than most children in Cambodia and it is still that way today. Only around 30% of Cambodia have access to mainline electricity, 50% safe drinking water and they have an education system that was destroyed by the Khmer Rouge. 

There is some good work being done in Cambodia and one really great project we have seen which is run by Cam Kids in one of the poorest communities, 2 hours from Phnom Penh. We had the opportunity to meet the team, visit this project to see first hand their great work and we can personally vouch for them. They have built a fantastic school, introduced solar power and even a bio gas using local cow's dung. They have done a superb job in setting this up for the community but there are ongoing costs and it would be a real wedding gift for us if to sponsor a class for a year.  

Our goal is to raise £3,000 to sponsor a class of 35 students. This would  cover the costs such as education, health care, uniforms and where necessary, a bicycle to get to school. This is huge gift to these lovely children and this dedicated charity.
