When I was 50 my son Gareth challenged me to climb Ben Nevis with him. Now that I am 70 I am returning the challenge for him to join me on the longest zip ride in Europe (over 1 mile long travelling at speeds in excess of 80mph).

We are doing this to support the many volunteers and staff of Teesside Hospice who constantly humble me as their Chairman by their many selfless acts of care and compassion.
