On 16th July, I'll attempt my first ever Ultra-marathon. That means running 31 miles of the Chiltern Hills, with two goals:
First, to get round in one piece..... this is way way longer than I've ever run before!
Secondly, to raise £1260 for a small & beautiful charity called MySmallHelp (http://www.mysmallhelp.org/) who'll then fund 5 amazing children in Nepal to go to school for a year: Sarmila, Saroj, Bipan, Hanna and Santaman.
These children have already faced incredible challenges in their lives from terrible poverty - but with a good education, they can have great hope for the future.
What's more, my company (McCormick) are match funding this - so for every £1 you donate, £2 will go to MySmallHelp. So if we can reach £1260 together, it will fund two years education for these children.
Any support, big or small, appreciated.
Thank you!
Brian
