Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit the Bryan Whitby JustGiving page.

On July 1st 2016 Bryan Whitby sadly passed away, aged 84 years.

Bryan lived a very full life and was well known and respected both locally and by the ice cream trade throughout the UK.    A true gentleman, Bryan always had time for others.

There have been so many achievements, but in particular, back in 1962 Bryan founded the business, known today as Whitby Morrison.  His innovative work was key in shaping the future for the Ice Cream Vans we all enjoy it today.

Until the last few months of his life Bryan was as fit and active as anyone in their 80s could ask for, it was only in the last few months that his health began to suffer.

Bryan spent his last days being cared for at St Luke's Hospice; there couldn't have been a better place for him.

We are raising funds in Bryan's memory and would be very grateful for your generous support - we can promise that your donation will be put to good use!    Please take a moment to look at St Luke's website...
