We never thought in a millions years we would be having a site set up in mums name! Mum was such a beautiful person inside and out,an amazing mother, a loving nana,sister auntie and caring loyal wife. Mum had a massive struggle due to the conditions of COPD. Most days it would completely wipe her out and take her energy from her. 

COPD is a condition where the airways become inflamed and the air sacs in your lungs are damaged. This causes your airways to become narrower, which makes it harder to breathe in and out.Therefore, people with COPD have breathing difficulties, and this can affect many aspects of your day-to-day life.Unfortunately, there is no cure for COPD, but there are lots of treatments available to help you manage your condition, improve your symptoms and live an active life.

Whilst Mum was poorly she had so much help,support and guidance on a daily basis from all the nurses at kingsgate house in Stockport... Mum always referred to them as her angels..

In Mums name we have set up this just giving site and We will be taking part in all sorts of fun events to raise money and to give back to Kingsgate house as there isn't enough words to thank them for everything they have done....

So on behalf of our mother Edna Jones and her Children Colleen,Cara,James,Ben and Melissa we would like to ask if you could donate as much or as little as you can towards the events we are taking part in....

Here are the events we are taking part in over the next coming months: 

Color run- 5th July / Pretty Muddy- 11th July climbing snowdon mountain - 22nd August / Tough mudder - 12th September  / Electric run-  26th September-WE HAVE JUST BEEN INFORMED THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED! I'll climb Ben nevis to make up for it ...... And probably afew other things to .....

Snowdon- 30th April 2016/ Bupa 10k run- 22nd May/ Color run- 2nd July 2016
