Story
Thanks for viewing our page.
Some of you may know, in August last year our best friend Dan Cox (Coxy senior) sadly lost his brother.
Matt Cox was a very popular and talented young man, a credit to his brother, Mum Linda, Dad Tim and all his family and friends.
We as Dan’s friends, were lucky enough to ‘Gatecrash’ many of Matt’s house parties and appreciate the many times he saved our 5/6 a side teams by going in goal. Matt was better than all of us between the sticks even though, as I’m sure he’d agree football was not even at the top of his long list of talents. Matt was an excellent Cricketer and Pianist.
In memory of Matt, Anthony Billings, Mike Fielding, Callum Duckworth, Tom Rooke, Dan Cox, Kieran Leggett, MItchell Hunt and I have set ourselves a pretty monumental task (considering our spare time is usually spent with a pint) of completing a Tough Mudder in Horsham on Sunday 25th September 2016.
We have set ourselves a target of £2,000. We would really appreciate a donation no matter how big. Every penny will really count as we get caked in mud, throw ourselves under nets, over walls and TAZERED!!!
Your money will go towards the ongoing and planned redevelopment of the Edenbridge Cricket Club pavillion where Matt spent his Summers smashing 4s.
It is for a very good cause, close to all of our hearts, so please dig deep.
