Story
Last year we did the first Cyclone24, organised by Stills in support of the Wallich, with a total of 7 teams taking part.
It was an amazing challenge and the first event of its kind in europe. The event involves teams of six riders riding around the velodrome track for 24hours, with one member of the team on the track at all times. Fixed gear bike, no brakes and steep banking, on the track where our Olympic and Para Olympic athletes trained before they went to Rio.
Due to last years success and the tireless efforts of Zoe Westerman of the Wallich, this years event has grown significantly and there will be more than 20 teams taking part. All raising money for the Wallich helping to support the homeless in Cardiff.
The Wallich’s mission is to prevent homelessness by getting people off the streets, keeping people off the streets and creating opportunities. Our vision is that there is adequate, appropriate accommodation and support to prevent anyone from sleeping rough in Wales.
