Connie is originally from Iowa and has admired the dedication of cyclists making this difficult ride.  This provides opportunity to remind myself of my home state, whilst raising money for a wonderful cause. So many friends and family have spent their final days in a hospice, and the love and care of St David's Hospice is renowned throughout North Wales.

Ian is a keen cyclist who works for a cycling charity that helps people to benefit from spending time on two wheels. The ride across Iowa with Connie will be a challenging experience and a great opportunity to do something in memory of my neighbour and good friend, Ron Corris, who spent his last days being cared for by the excellent staff at St David's Hospice in December 2015.
