This multi faith appeal is being co ordinated by the Catholic Children’s Society (Westminster).

For many people living in poverty Christmas is a time of dread and fear, a stark choice between paying for heating, food or presents. For many Christmas is simply another day to be endured.

Imagine making a real difference to one such family this year!

In 2012 we provided food hampers and emergency boxes of essential items (tooth brushes, nappies etc) to over 160 families. This year we are hoping to be able to help even more and we desperately need your help.

 

Will you or your family fill an emergency box or put together a food hamper to give to a family less fortunate than your own? OR would you consider buying a gift voucher or donating cash which we can purchase vouchers with? – these empower families living in poverty to be able to share in the whole of Christmas – from buying presents they know their family members need, sharing the excitement of wrapping them and experiencing the sheer joy they bring to children and adults alike on Christmas morning.
