Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 19th March 2009 Sam collapsed with a brain tumour and was given an hour to live. After many operations and hard work he had to re-learn how to walk, talk, read, write and just about everything else.
Sam left hospital optimistic and determined..This was the start of something which Sam would not let get the better of him, he decided that it would be up to him to raise awareness and funding whether it be in the local community of his home town Newark or the European Parliament in Brussels, Sam battled astoundingly and touched the hearts of many people his beaming smile and great sense of humour, one of Sams great achievements was carrying the Olympic torch through his home town.
Sadly on September 3rd 2013 Sam peacefully passed away in QMC Nottingham.
Sam said that if he was not around to raise awareness and urge funding that it must be carried on or what will have been the point.
I have decided to run the Brighton Marathon in Sam's memory to raise as much money for the Sam White Legacy so one day no child or their family will have to go through what Sam and his family went through and continue to do so.
