Story

Thanks for visiting our Just Giving page.

On 19 May, Crawley Hockey Club are embarking on an epic game of hockey, in an attempt to beat the Guinness World Record for the longest continuous hockey game. The current record is 31 hours, which is held by South Gloucestershire hockey club. In doing so, we are also raising funds for St. Catherine’s Hospice, who recently cared for our member, Sue Smith, who sadly died in October.

This is, obviously, a huge challenge for everyone involved – players and supporters alike – especially as most of the club are normally limited to a couple of hours hockey a week... Your sponsorship would mean a great deal to everyone involved, and will hopefully help to spur us on for the whole 36 hours.

Any money that you can spare for this fantastic cause would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Crawley Hockey Club
