Story
Once there was a girl. She was not sporty and certainly not a runner (in fact, the thought alone was comical!), but she was a 'trier' and when she wanted to achieve something she was determined to do it. She watched her Dad run the Potteries Marathon, cheered him on and thought he was a hero.
When she reached her twenties, she decided that she wanted to give running a go and in no time, the florescent jackets were purchased, the joggers turned into running shorts, shopping for Nikes became exciting (although she is still a heels girl at heart!) and she ran ACTUAL races!
Surprisingly, this is me :-) I thank you so much for taking the time to look over my page. I adore running and am very lucky to have had a place in the Marathon through my brilliant running club, The Potters Trotters! To run the London Marathon for a truly inspiring charity in memory of a truly inspiring young man is fantastic. It would mean the world if people donate.
The Joe Gilligan Trust exists to support and improve the lives of teenagers and young adults battling Cancer. As Joe was a drummer the Trust will also provide support for young musicians. If you can help in any way, please sponsor me. Thank you lovely people! xx
