Story
At the City of London Freemen's School 23 senior school pupils are touring South Africa in October 2014 and are supporting the Garden Route Children's Trust based in Knysna, South Africa. The pupils are taking part in a 24 hour cricket net in the school's sports hall from 4pm on Friday 28th March 2014 to 4pm Saturday 29th March 2014 to raise funds for the charity.
The funds are directly supporting the;
e'Pap Feeding Project
which is currently helping to feed over 4,000 children.
Approximately 70 volunteers, directed by Shelley Godsell, who live in Knysna, Sedgefield and Plettenberg Bay give their services freely to help with the distribution of the porridge and the liasing with the schools. Consequently money given goes directly to the point of need.
