Calabash Trust is a charity based in the townships of Port Elizabeth, South Africa. It provides workshops and training programmes; it also helps Community based projects to host tourists and generate income; and supports a cluster of Primary schools.

For the last ten years Reed’s School has taken a group of Sixth Formers to Port Elizabeth to work in primary schools building playing fields, netball courts and developing libraries.

In August 2016 we will be working at Joe Slovo Primary School where we will be renovating a sports field, building water tanks as well as other projects. All the equipment and necessary resources for these projects will be paid for via fundraising.

The 22 students will be completing various sponsored challenges and asking for donations to try and reach a target of £6,000. Your support and donations will be much appreciated.
