Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Addressing the problem of waste is something that we care about. We have lived in lots of beautiful countries around the world which are marred in equal measure by the problem of all the waste our modern world produces and lack of opportunity and practical ideas to address these problems. We came across WasteAid UK while working in Senegal and The Gambia and think that its ideas and solutions are worth supporting. They provide real and practical solutions to the urgent issue of plastic and other waste which blights the landscape, threatens public health and destroys the environment, which in turn creates jobs and opportunities for people who need ways to make a living.

We also love walking and so we are participating in this event, climbing Mount Snowdon for the first time and hoping to raise some funds for WasteAid.
