Story
In April 2015 my incredible inspirational friend Michelle Morris ran in the Marathon des Sables, a gruelling 150 miles in the Sahara Desert over 6 days. She did this in memory of her Dad and to raise money for a very worthwhile cause; The Intensive Care foundation which is researching amongst other things into ARDS, the condition from which her father untimely passed away. Their research is helping to improve the levels and quality of care for patients that are critically ill.

I wanted to contribute to Michelle's fundraising; (sorry its taken so long Michelle!) as I think what she has acheived is unbelievable.
My challenge is not as hardcore as running marathons in the desert, but i am hoping to complete the Wainwrights Coast to Coast walk (192 miles) from St Bees Head in the Lake District to Robin Hoods Bay in mighty Yorkshire in under 9 days (normally takes 12-15). I am planning to camp so will be carrying all my gear with me, there are a few rather large fells to go over and this is a solo effort so its still going to be pretty tough!!!
The support from the channel swim relay I did was unreal and I'm hoping enough time has passed for you to spare some more change for my latest venture. I know how generous you all can be....
Thanks for reading and wish me luck!!!!
