On July 4th 2015 Emily, Abigail and I are joining the second Hike for Hawks to raise funds for the Bird of Prey hospital at the Hawk Conservancy Trust. The Hawk Conservancy is very close to our hearts. Nick and I joined as members in the early nineties and were there with Emily when the hospital was opened.

When Nick died I gave all your kind donations to the Hawk Conservancy Trust and they created the Bee Bank (a wildlife habitat for all sorts of insects as well as bees) in his memory. It is still flourishing with wildlife.

Ashley Smith, the Executive Life President of the Trust, asked me to take part in the first walk in 2013 and I couldn't refuse! This time we signed up without being asked. It is the seventh anniversary of Nick's death in September so it feels appropriate to try to earn some more money for this wonderful place in his memory.
