Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page in aid of Amber www.amberweb.org.
On the 7th November 2013 Tom Harris, Nicola Berry, Lindsey Hunt, Gemma Hyde and myself are going to partake in a sponsored sleep out by SLEEPING ROUGH for a night. We hope that this will raise awareness of homeless issues and money for the homeless through the charity Amber.
Amber is a registered charity that helps homeless unemployed young people to gain the confidence, motivation and skills to get and keep a job and accommodation. We have residential centers in the south west where the young people stay for as long as they need to turn their lives around. At the Amber residential centres unemployed homeless young people get the chance to put their past behind them, overcome personal barriers and gain the social, educational and practical tools to lead successful, fulfilling, independent lives and be valuable members of society – and 80% successfully do. Our web site is www.amberweb.org .
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now.
Thank you
Carrie, Tom, Nicola, Lindsey and Gemma
