I am reaching out for your support: I'm busting my behind trying to learn this very elegant "contemporary lyrical" dance for the children of the mountain strictly event. We in the Dubai Rose Centre need your help to make a much needed contribution to Children of the Mountain. My partner Mr Michael Sheeran is ever the perfectionist whereas I'm playing my usual "it'll be alright on the night" card!:-) Please give what you can to this charity based in Nepal that is providing much needed schools, teachers and education to children exploited yet surviving below the poverty line in this underdeveloped forgotten country.

Michael Conneely, 28, from Mulhusey, Co. Meath, Ireland. I have been in the UAE 4 years and have made a lot of Nepalese friends along the way, I will start by saying I have never danced before, ever! My first thought when asked to take part in the event was, to put it politely, "No Thanks". Then when I found out the charity was for Children of the Mountain I gave a definite yes! I took it as a sign, as I am flying out to Nepal the day after the event to take on Everest so there was no saying no!!
