I have just returned from Afghanistan, where I was setting up a joint project between the charity I work for and Hagar Afghanistan.

Whilst there, I was deeply moved by the amazing work of their Transitional Care Centre for women and children who have experienced serious gender-based violence. This project really does bring hope and restoration in an incredible way, and I want to do all I can to ensure their work can continue.
