Story

About three year's ago, my father was diagnosed with prostate cancer and spent almost two months in St. Luke's in Rathfar undergoing radium treatment. We will be forever grateful for the care and compassion that he (and us) experienced during that time there. Dad was lucky and made a full recovery; however it was clear during his time there that sadly others would not. For these patients and their families, St. Luke's work endlessly to make their time there as comfortable and pleasant as possible.

I'll be running the Dublin City Marathon on October 30th and hope to raise a small bit of money in doing so to help St. Luke's in their efforts. During those 26.2 miles, if things get tough I'll think of all cancer patients and their families who would give anything to have the health to be out there on that day.
