I'm not 100% sure why, but one evening I decided that this was a fabulous idea! So now here I am asking you to support me by donating to this brilliant cause. Fifty four miles may not seem far to many of my cycling friends, but please rest assured that this is really going to push me - so please sponsor me! 

As most of you know, we adopted Pickle from Raystede in 2014. She was one of the lucky ones, her owner had only given her up because she could no longer look after her, but many of the dogs, cats and other animals Raystede take in have been abandoned, neglected and mistreated. It costs £6,000 per day to nurse these animals back to health and find them loving, forever homes.

It's not just domestic animals either - Raystede provide sanctuary to donkeys, goats and treat injured wildlife.

Please help to give more animals a second chance. All donations will be very gratefully received.

Oh, have I mentioned I've got to cycle up Ditchling Beacon?!!
