Chaplin Family to Everest Base Camp, 10 March 2017
We retrain wounded servicemen and women to empower veterans to start new careers

Story

We are trying to walk up to Everest Base Camp with a group of wounded soldiers.  Everest Base Camp is at 5,300m which is 1,000m  higher than Mont Blanc so its a major challenge and we expect temperatures to dip below minus 20C at night!  We are trying to raise money through Walking With The Wounded to help soldiers who have been injured in Afghanistan to adjust to civilian life and to find new professions, skills and jobs.
