We are a very modest school giving free top quality education to the children of the Chepang community in Nepal - one of the most desperately hard-up groups in what is one of the poorest countries (only recently emerged from a devastating civil war). Chepangs are forced to eat nettles and to barter for the basic essentials of life. We have achieved amazing results in exams for our students in mainstream education. But we have a problem.

Our funding is entirely based on the generosity of donors. One of our supporters has signalled that they will have to withdraw their support and so we are scrambling to restore hope for the 200+ children in our care. The Mountain Trust has donated £500 and The Dixon International Group Ltd has donated £200. Their Ambassador in Greece, Miette Lauwers, has already found a donor willing to give 200 Euros. Since then we have raised a further £500 or so through this page.
