The Bracken Trust is a charity based in our little town of Llandrindod Wells that offers support to those facing cancer as well as their families. Recently my wonderful mum was diagnosed with bowel cancer and the Bracken Trust were there ready to offer their advice, support and services.

My dad (Simon) and I most definitely are not runners but are attempting the 10 mile run (probably walking involved too) to raise money for this wonderful charity. A 10 mile run might seem like a big ordeal to us but it is nothing compared to what those facing cancer are going through. Every donation really will help make a difference to this charity - also knowing that we've got plenty of support behind us will give dad and myself the extra encouragement needed on the day.
