On the morning of the 16th January tragedy hit our family, My brother John found his son Charlie not breathing in his cot, Charlie was only 14 months old and had passed away of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, (SIDS).It affects 600 babies a year and they have no idea what causes it. Charlie was a very happy and healthy baby and what happened is indescribable. What John and Fiona (Charlie's Parents) have gone through is unimaginable and having such supportive family and friends has been a key in keeping them going and also having Charlie's Sister Kadie to ensure they have something to get up to every day.
Our Team have decided we would love to help the Lullaby Trust as they give great support to families and help research in to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and hopefully raise money into researching why and help prevent other babies leaving this world in the same way.
On the 18th September 2015 we will be doing the 3 peaks challenge in 24hrs this is a massive challenge for all involved, it will not be easy and training is essential in us completing the challenge in the timeframe. People involved are Family and close friends of Charlie's and his parents, who really want to support the charity in Charlie's memory. We cannot do this without your help, please give whatever you can and help make us reach our target to help families like us and help fund the research into Sudden Infant Death Syndrome.
We will also be holding a mini event climbing Snowdon this is for our family and friends that want to get involved but unable to take part in the 3 peaks, this will also be training day for the team as well and will be in June 2015
