Story
On the 23rd of May 2011 I gave birth to my beautiful boy, We named him Charlie. For 7 months we loved, played and took care of our amazing boy, we were his mummy and daddy. Charlie was such a happy little boy smiling and giggling at everyone he met. Charlie grew so fast and we always laughed at how he was going to be built just like his Daddy but he never got the chance.
On the 29th of December 2011 Charlie had little cold, he slept cuddled up with his mummy that night, he was restless during the night and had a little temperature, i did what mummys do and gave him some calpol and he was ok. In the morning on the 30th he got a little worse, it was then that i found a little rash. Charlie fought really hard for 6 hours but his little heart couldnt take it. He died at Alder Hay Childrens Hospital of Meningitis.
I am raising money for the Meningitis Trust in Charlies name which aims to reach and improve the lives of everyone affected by meningitis and minimise the impact of the disease.
