Over the past few years I have met (and been reunited with) so many amazing people as a result of the charity that has been set up in Podge's memory.  I feel now is the time to give something back to say thank you to all those amazing people.

The aim is to help to raise awareness of a school friend's tragic story; of how, out of something so awful, such amazing strength of character can be triumphant; as well as how incredibly important it is to both educate people and to forgive them.

Please give anything you can to support this amazing charity.

So, for those who know me, you all know that I can't run and pretty much dislike all exercise that involves walking or running!  Well, in October, I ran for the first time and managed a minute and a half (seriously!) before stopping, clutching my sides and deciding this was a ridiculous idea.  Since then, I can run a little further (two half marathons completed - just!) and I have signed up to a number of events - the point of these is to push me to the limit, otherwise there would be no challenge!

Shakespeare Marathon (April, 2016)
National Three Peaks Challenge (August, 2016)
Medoc (Bordeaux) Marathon (September, 2016)

...all this is training for the biggie:
Annapurna base camp, Nepal (April, 2017).

I'll update after each event, as well as adding more challenges as the year goes on.  I hope you will support me in what will hopefully be a really fun and tiring 12 months!
