Verity is a self help group set up in 1997 to help women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). The charity is completely self funded and is the only national charity for women with PCOS. PCOS affects millions of women in the UK and worldwide (approximately 5-10 per cent) .

On 15th October 2016 I will be doing a 30 mile walk over the Downs to raise money for Verity. I was unfortunately diagnosed with PCOS, alongside hormone issues earlier this year which has resulted in with pretty bad fertility issues and Verity has given me lots support and knowledge on the subject.  

I am currently in the process of consulting with specialists to help with my symptoms and fertility issues and I thought that this walk would be a great thing to focus on while all of this is happening. 

It would mean so much if you can help me give something back to this charity as they have done so much for me during this difficult year xxx
