Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The teachers at Cherry Pie Music are taking part in a sponsored Grade 1athon.  Each teacher will start learning a brand new instrument and take the Grade 1 examination all in the space of 12 weeks.

This is quite a challenge as most people take a year to get to Grade 1 when learning an instrument and although all our teachers are professional musicians, they have no prior experience in playing the instrument they will be learning.

Some of the teachers are taking part as students and others are offering their time teaching the instruments.  All are offering their time free of charge.

Please help us raise £2000 for Headway East London by sponsoring the teachers in this Grade 1athon.  You don't need to sponsor the teachers individually as we are working as a group to do this.  Headway East London is a very worthwhile charity supporting people living with the effects of a brain injury.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
