Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Sepsis affects 150000 people in the UK a year. 44000 people die from sepsis in a single year.

Sepsis is a life threatening condition that arises when the bodies response to infection injures it's tissues and organs. Sepsis leads to shock, multiple organ failure and death.

We want to improve the way we deal with sepsis and raise awareness amongst staff and the public to reduce the amount of people who die from this condition a year. In order to do so we would like to provide materials and tools accessible to all members of staff in the trust to increase awareness in catching sepsis early.

We would massively appreciate even the smallest of contributions in our aim to save lives from a condition that will, more likely than not, affect yourself or a loved one in the future.
