Firstly, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those who have supported Children of the Forest over the years. We would also like to sincerely thank those who supported our 2012 Christmas rice appeal. The response was extremely generous and contributed substantially to meals for our school, child protection centre and mother & child shelter.

With increases in food costs due to political instability in Thailand and  the increased number of beneficiaries requiring assistance, the Christmas rice appeal remains as vital as ever to the maintenance of our programs.  Rice is, quite simply, the single most fundamental need underlying all our protection and education services. Children and adults at Children of the Forest work together to alleviate part of the burden by planting our own rice, a difficult but rewarding activity which provides a quarter of our annual rice needs. 

Now we request your assistance once again to help address our rice shortage.  Any donation no matter how small, will be received gratefully as we work together to alleviate suffering and bring security and opportunity to the lives of stateless children.
