Story

We are fundraising for an Intensive Care Unit in the Red Cross War Memorial Hospital in Cape Town. It is one of the few stand alone Children's Hospitals in Sub Sahara Africa and has a reach both in healthcare and teaching right across the Continent.

About the charity

The Red Cross War Memorial Children's Hospital, Cape Town, is the cornerstone of paediatric health care and training in Africa. It is the only specialist hospital dedicated entirely to children in the whole of southern Africa. 90% of patients are from marginalised communities.
