Story

Darren, who owns The Ealing Privilege Card and Colleen who is the Marketing Manager at Northfields Estates are taking on one of the hottest chilli peppers on the planet, the Bhut Jolokia chilli, known as the "ghost chilli".

The ghost chilli is rated at 1 million Scoville heat units (SHUs). Just to put that into perspective - Classic Tabasco sauce ranges from 2,500 to 5,000 SHUs.  So with lots of milk and yoghurt at the ready, Darren and Colleen will eat a ghost chilli on camera to raise money for The Log Cabin.

To train themselves for the big challenge on December 17th, Darren and Colleen will be undertaking a regimen of chilli eating.  Each day we'll share the "Daily Chilli", our conditioning for the big day via our Twitter accounts @DarrenBailey2 and @NorthfieldsLive.

Please sponsor Colleen and Darren as we risk burning holes in our mouths with the Ghost Chilli all to support the amazing work of The Log Cabin.

The Log Cabin is a children's charity based in Ealing that supports 300 children across the borough with different needs and disabilities, giving them a place to play and socialise while giving their parents and carers respite.
