Cornwall Cancer Care are the principal care centre in Cornwall for cancer treatment and treated my dear friend, Kate Felix who passed away in March 2016. Kate's 6 year battle against cancer, and the fights other friends have put in, have spurred me on to raise some money for this centre, and Christies in Manchester which is my local treatment centre. I am doing this by cycling from Christie to Cornwall Cancer Care over 5 days in June 2016 with a friend, Chris Mountcastle who is originally from St Austell but now lives in the north.
