I had decided to run the MK Marathon just after Christmas, and those of you that know me, will know that I do regularly do an event for charity. I chose the marathon, as it is 25 years since I last completed such an event and I wanted to challenge myself over this distance once again. 

Why the Miscarriage Association? Well, on the evening of 2nd February 2015, I unfortunately witnessed and felt the pain and suffering of such a loss at close hand.  My daughter, who was 15 weeks into a pregnancy, sadly suffered the loss. 

On Tuesday 9th February 2015, she broke her silence and told the world;

"I have a baby in heaven, 1 in 4 is not a statistic, it's me"

The Miscarriage Association makes a real difference, providing support and information when it is most needed. I want to help continue to do this for others in such situations.
