Story
For those who don't know my previous attempt to run the London Marathon in 2011 ended with a rather traumatic experience and no finishing medal although on the positive side it's given me a great story to tell. Ever since then I've been intending to get the monkey off my back, by completing the whole race, and hopefully this time not ending up in a hospital bed or having to get the train home in a hospital gown (see photo below)!
This time around I'm aiming to raise money for the Manchester United Foundation. Since returning to Manchester I've seen the amazing work these guys do in the community to engage and inspire young people to build a better life for themselves. For those Liverpool and City fans out there don't worry you won't be funding United's next transfer window as the Foundation is a completely separate entity. Please check out some of the amazing work they have done here: http://www.mufoundation.org/en/Projects.aspx
Please sponsor me as much as you feel you can. Any donation, no matter how large or small will be appreciated. Anyhow thanks for checking my page out and here's the usual stuff on Just Giving:
