I've been lucky enough to live just a few miles away from this amazing place for many years now and see first hand the incredible work that is done both locally and afar saving endangered animal species. All of you who have visited me from home in the UK have been brought here and I have loved introducing my family and many god-children to the bears, gorillas, frogs, lemurs, mountain chickens and bats  (and even the sand-pit!).

I know this challenge isn't 26.2 miles this time but please do sponsor me for this brilliant charity so that in decades to come we will still be able to enjoy these wonderful creatures rather than just read about them on Wikepedia.
