Story
Hi folks,
We're off again. Yes I know we enjoy long distance cycling so it's not exactly a sacrifice to raise money this way but I'm told that some people actually enjoy running marathons so we're in good company! At the end of May we're cycling the 220 mile Lochs and Glens route from Glasgow to Inverness, up the middle of Scotland. Scenery, weather and midges will all add their own contributions to our experience. We travel out to eastern Uganda in July for a 2 week visit. This will be our 6th trip and we are delighted to be joining friends from Nottingham who have links with Ngora hospital, 1 hour away from our link hospital at |Atutur. Once again our work will be divided between hospital and community with a particular emphasis on maternity and and Village Health Team training. Two students from the Nutrition Department of Nottingham University will be on the team and we would like to be able to use some of the money raised to help support them, if necessary. Thanks for your continued interest and support and for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
