I've previously raised funds for MIND by doing a sober month and I've decided to go one better by going an entire YEAR sober this time. After some thought I've decided I'd like to fundraise for Glasgow Children's Holiday Scheme. GCHS provide getaways for disadvantaged children and young carers. We see a holiday as an inevitability every year but there are some families out there who can only dream of getting away but with charities like this around their dream can come true. These families would be more than happy with trips away to a caravan at the likes Wemyss Bay and River Tilt, Blair Atholl.

I plan to have an entire year off of drink and thought 'what better way to keep motivated than raising money for a worthy cause?' So now I MUST succeed and I will, hopefully with all of your support. I also want to prove that you don't have to drink to have fun in a world where it's almost became the only way to do so. 

My target of £500 would pay for ten families to get away to the caravan and a lot of happiness will be had out of that. So if you can, do what you can! £1, £2, £5 or £10 all mount up and donating any amount shows that you care. Thanks for reading and thanks in advance for your donations.
