Story

I’ve done my homework and the best way to help refugees is by providing medicines.

NGOs don’t have the infrastructure to distribute our cast off clothes. They accumulate in Calais  and are adding to the problem not helping it. What’s really needed are Medicines for Refugees across Europe.

The charity “Doctors of the world” is a non-political organisation providing expertise for free. They need money to buy drugs.

Chris the vicar is giving up eating for 48 hours ( consuming liquids only) He’s looking for sponsorship for each of the 48!

My fast began  at 9.00pm Tuesday 13th October and will end at 9.00pm on Thursday 15th October

All the money raised will be donated directly to “Doctors of the world Refugee appeal” and it will buy drugs, dressings and medicines for refugees across Europe, Turkey and Jordan.

I hope you can be generous and support me as I starve! Its just a way of drawing your attention to the needs of refugees and giving you an easy opportunity to help them realsitically

I’m hoping to encourage all you good and generous people to continue to give in thanksgiving this Harvest tide. My friends in Church and my personal friends too!  I’m also hoping to lose a few kilos, preferably from the waist!

Thank you
