Please support staff from Cilgerran Ward, Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen, raising funds in memory of our dear colleague Jayne who sadly passed away in March of this year. 

We are taking part in a sponsored 50 mile coastal walk from Porthgain to St Dogmaels, along the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path during the weekend of 9 - 11 September 2016. 

The 'Cilgerran Coastal Challenge' is being organised in memory of our dear colleague Jayne. Jayne was a dedicated children's nurse and a popular and valuable member of our team who wanted the very best for our patients. In 2014 Jayne persuaded a team from the ward to climb Snowdon to raise money for new parent beds for the ward and had planned to take part in another sponsored event this year. As Jayne is sadly no longer with us we want to keep her memory alive and pay tribute to all that she achieved for our patients.

The proceeds of our fundraising will support improvements to the outside play area for our patients on Cilgerran Ward as well as a memorial for Jayne at Glangwili Hospital to pay tribute to her work.
