I'm having 12 inches of my hair cut off., 18 October 2016

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my Just Giving page.

I have decided to do a sponsored haircut, people I know, will know that I have always had long hair so to have 12 inches cut off will be a big thing for me.  From the photo you can see how long my hair is now, once cut it will be just above my shoulders.

The reason I am doing this is that my mum has been battling breast cancer for over 10 years now and I wanted to be able to give back to the Primrose Foundation as they have been such a great help and support to my family. My mum is currently in remission but has had breast cancer 4 times, each time the Primrose Foundation has been there for her.  I have also had colleagues who have had the same illness and have had exceptional support from the Primrose Unit.

I am lucky to still have such a strong and courageous mum, but maybe she wouldn't have made it through if not for this fabulous charity.

This charity does a wonderful job in trying to make the processes more bearable with their support and caring attitude.

That is not all................. The hair that is being chopped off is being given to the Little Princess Trust who take hair donations and turn them in to wigs for children that have lost their hair through cancer treatment.

Thank you once again.

Clair
