I am running the Virgin London Marathon 2013 in memory of Louis Emaho, my best friend's son, who died tragically in February 2012 aged just 5 years old.

Louis loved birds; he enjoyed feeding ducks and swans, watching the robins and starlings in the garden and was always keen to spot a new bird while out and about.  As a fitting tribute to him I have decided to raise money for the RSPB.

As some of you already know, I was unable to take part in last year's marathon after having to withdraw through injury, so I am also running this year as a big 'thank-you' to all who donated last year.
