Well I have decided to run 5k to help raise funds for ACTS Ministries for a friend of mine Stephen McIntyre.  This will be a huge task for me as I have NEVER done anything like this before in my life!  After being a large size 22 I have been on my own journey and have lost over 4 stone.  This is another part of my journey and I hope you can help.  I have never been a runner and find it really difficult.  So for the next 8 weeks I will be training hard to build myself up to running the 5k.  It will be challenging but it will be really worth it for all the fundraising!

ACTS Ministries are trying to raise £13,000 to build 4 classrooms and buy school desks for 500 children in India that would have no hope of an education without outside help.
